Shipping and Lead Times

Solus products are designed, built, certified and tested in Canada at our head office and manufacturing studio. Solus has warehouses in the UK, Europe and North America where product is stocked and available for quick shipment in these areas.

IN UK STOCK PRODUCTS
Delivery from our UK warehouse to a UK address is included in the price of fire and water features. Orders typically ship within 4-10 working days.

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS
Due to the wide range of product configurations (numbering in the hundreds) and seasonal demand fluctuations, not all items are stocked in the UK or Europe.
Products shipped from outside the UK are subject to an international delivery charge of £340–£540 (inc. VAT) in addition to the product price. Estimated shipping lead time is 10–12 weeks.

In some cases, stock may be available in our Spain warehouse. Where applicable, delivery lead time can be reduced to approximately 1–4 weeks.

If you require faster delivery, air freight can be arranged upon request. Please contact us for a custom air freight quotation based on your order details. Once approved, payments for the order and associated freight charges will be arranged in accordance with the agreed terms.

Our Linear fire pit was conceived as a modular unit that can be stacked and joined end to end. This will allow you to define patio areas in an architecturally dramatic and functional way. Because they are so ‘thin’ valuable seating area can be maximized. These fire pits are easy to assemble but do require that they be anchored down to prevent tipping. Suitable for backyards or commercial spaces. It comes in single-stack and double-stack heights.

Description

The Linear fire pit is smooth, sophisticated and elegant. At 6 feet long it creates a substantial presence with a large robust fire that gives off a great amount of heat with a 108,000 btu burner. It comes in single-stack and double-stack heights. The Linear fire pit is the newest in the Solus line of certified fire pits that would work in either a commercial or residential setting. It can be used as a single or run as a series of 2, 3 or even 4, giving you 24 linear feet of fire. A wall of fire!

All of our fire pits utilise brass burner components and a cross fire for a natural flame. Certified to CSA, ANSI and CE standards for both manual lit with a flame supervision device, and electronic auto-adjustable for maximum versatility and effect.

Product Details

We also have full UKCA and CE certification as EN 509:2000 – Decorative Fuel Effects Gas Appliances and EN 60335-1:2001 Household and Similar Electrical Appliances. Our natural gas fire pits are also certified as ‘Outdoor Decorative Gas Appliances’ to Canadian CSA 2.41-2014 and American ANSI Z21.97-2014 standards.

Each of our fire pits comes with a warranty on workmanship and performance.

Each burner is assembled and tested in our facility from non-corrosive brass, stainless steel, aluminium and thermoplast components.

Propane fire pits are certified to UKCA, CE and ANSI standards. All propane burners are assembled in the USA from brass components and are individually tested to meet specific certification requirements.

Ethanol burners have been designed specifically for Solus, are constructed from 3 layers of stainless steel, and meet the highest quality standards.

Each of our fire pits are handcast from high performance, fibre-reinforced concrete which has been tested to ASTM standards.

All concrete pieces are sealed with a penetrating sealer to minimise weathering. Table surfaces are treated with an extra protective coating to protect from prolonged exposure to food and drink spills.

    Ordering

    • Solus fire pits are available direct through Solus to both homeowners and the trade.
    • In stock products will be ready to ship within 2 – 7 days. If not in stock in our UK warehouse it will usually take between 6 – 10 weeks depending on shipping schedule and time of year.  If you have special requirements please contact our sales team to discuss options.
    • All fire pits are individually wrapped and crated in museum quality crates to ensure that they arrive to you in perfect condition.

    Shipping

    World wide shipping options include:

    • Kerbside delivery places your crates or pallets on the street in front of your location where they can be unpacked. Lifting of the products into place is not included with this delivery option.
    •  Airfreight by special request.

    Our Hemi 36″ Fire Bowl is Great! Our condo associaton purchased the Hemi 36″ Fire Bowl and our residents love it! We had it shipped all the way from Vancouver to Montreal and it arrived well-crated, in perfect condition for a straight-forward install. We have it connected with a timer switch, so it is just “set and forget” which is great, since we have many unsupervised resident users. The Hemi is very attractive when burning, and even when not lit it looks like a sculpture. Solus Decor’s after sales service has also been excellent.
