When it comes to fire pit fuel, Solus offers three high-quality options. These are natural gas, LPG, and Bio Ethanol. Each fuel has it’s own benefits and Bio Ethanol stands out as the eco-friendly choice. Made from renewable plant sources such as sugarcane and straw, this clean-burning fuel emits no harmful emissions, only water vapour and a minimal amount of CO2.
Easy to use and store, Bio Ethanol is purchased in liquid form. It’s simply poured into the fire pit’s central vessel and lit. At Solus we have produced our fire pits to include a secure Bio Ethanol chamber that can be filled with specifically designed lava rock and fire stones. This ensures both style and safety. (Remember, never use regular garden stones – they can crack or explode under heat.)
Once ignited, the flame begins clear, gradually glowing a warm orange as it heats up, dancing elegantly around the fire bowl. It’s not just heat. it’s a captivating light show that enhances any outdoor evening.
Solus has adapted many of their most popular fire pits, bowls, and fire tables to accommodate Bio Ethanol. A smart alternative to gas that doesn’t require a gas engineer or any pipework. This means you can place your fire pit on virtually any surface – from patios and decks to lawns – and even move it to suit the layout of your space.
Available in 12 stunning colours and a variety of shapes and sizes. These sculptural fire features blend beautifully with any garden design.
