For nearly a decade, Solus Fire & Water has been a proud exhibitor at the Chelsea Flower Show, and 2025 marked another milestone. Working once again with Thermalux Saunas and Cedar Nursery, we were honoured with a 4-star award from the RHS judges, who praised the exceptional layout, thoughtful planting, and cohesive design scheme. Unlike conventional trade shows, the RHS Chelsea holds its trade stands to the same rigorous standards as the show gardens. Designs must be relevant, beautifully executed, and fully aligned with the horticultural theme of the event. Solus more than met the mark, turning heads and attracting the show visitors to our stand.
Our 2025 stand was a masterclass in blending form and function. The Hemi and Elevated Halo fire pits offered a warm, sculptural focal point, while the Dome water feature provided a sense of serenity and balance. Set among carefully curated planting that highlighted the natural beauty of their materials, the display resonated with visitors seeking stylish, functional outdoor features. The Solus team spent months in preparation alongside Thermalux and Cedar Nursery, designing, submitting plans and coordinating plant choices. Then construction began over a week before the show. Every detail, right down to the final polish the day before opening, was meticulously considered.
The long days on site, from early morning arrivals to evening close, were filled with energy. With gates opening to the public at 8am, the Solus team welcomed thousands of visitors, including both long-time customers and new faces discovering our products for the first time. The stand attracted many people interested in the ambience of a fire pit or the ripple of a water bowl and inspired conversations about garden design, and the importance of creating outdoor retreats as a sanctuary and entertainment space.
As Saturday afternoon brought the curtain down on another unforgettable week, the Solus team were tired but reflected on the whirlwind of voices, sore feet, and shared enthusiasm. The experience was, as always, uplifting and deeply rewarding. With the stand take down and a short pause for rest, thoughts have already turned to planning for Chelsea 2026.
